In 1882 Three different dies were prepared for the New Orleans mint using dies originally created for the San Francisco mint

shows some light scratches on outer bezel (visible in images) and one scratch on back

It is a dramatic error made only more dramatic by having two companion notes with similar looking errors from what has to be the same print run (393B & 397B)
