1912 Photogravure Workshop Studio Portrait George Frederic Watts Fashion XADA9 XAX1 Spanish ConquestThis is an original 1912 black and white photogravure of one of the workshops in the house Watts and his new wife, Mary Fraser Tytler, bought and named "Limnerslease," which combined the words "limner" (artist) with "leasen" (glean.) They also built the Watts Gallery nearby which was a museum dedicated to his work the first (and now the only) purpose built gallery in Britain devoted to a single artist which opened shortly before his death.
