Early 20th Century Faries Brass Gooseneck Office Lamp sport or "Green Tree Insurance Company"c. 1920s; Faries Manufacturing Co. Decatur, IL Fully adjustable antique industrial desk lamp manufactured by Faries. This piece features the original eye saving parabolic shade with a rolled rim and the weighted base is constructed of cast iron with a worn brass cap. Both the neck and post are tightly affixed to the base and the lamp operates by way of the original paddle switch located on the socket. Has stamped maker's mark and "SEP 7 20" patent.
